The model proposes.
You decide, every time.

Review now gets a head start: AI-suggested Sleep‑Wake Cyclicity intervals and an automatic PMA estimate, tuned to stay quiet unless confident and never written to a case until you personally confirm it.

How it fits into review

Nothing changes about who's in charge

The AI's job is to hand you a head start, not a verdict. Every suggestion goes through the exact same confirm step as an interval you'd draw by hand.

01 SUGGEST 02 REVIEW 03 CONFIRM
01

Model proposes

The classifier flags candidate Quiet Sleep segments per hemisphere and draws them as a dashed purple region -- deliberately tuned conservative, so it stays quiet rather than flooding the trace with guesses.

02

You inspect & adjust

Click into a suggestion like any other interval: drag its edges, or reject it outright. Nothing about the case has changed on disk yet.

03

Confirm saves it

Hit Confirm and it's saved exactly like a hand-drawn interval -- plus a record of the model's original bounds and confidence, for comparison later.

In the review window

Suggestions and PMA, side by side with your own tools

A live case with two AI-suggested intervals (purple) awaiting review, and a PMA estimate run alongside your Burdjalov subscores.

detectQS review window showing purple AI-suggested Quiet Sleep intervals on the aEEG trace, the Suggest Annotations (AI) and Run AI - PMA Estimation buttons, and a Burdjalov PMA assessment panel with an AI PMA estimate of 29.4 weeks.
SWC Annotation and PMA Assessment now sit as two clearly separated panels -- the purple Suggest Annotations (AI) and Run AI - PMA Estimation buttons mark every AI-powered action the same way, so it's never ambiguous what's automatic and what's manual.
Built for how we actually work

The details that matter for real review sessions

Conservative by design

Retuned after early testing showed it was over-suggesting -- the threshold and minimum run-length were both raised specifically so it doesn't spam you with marginal proposals.

Nothing is lost, even a "no"

Accepted, adjusted, and now rejected suggestions are all logged with the model's original bounds and confidence -- the full record future model versions learn from.

An independent second read on PMA

Your Burdjalov subscores still suggest a PMA range the way they always have -- the AI estimate runs alongside as its own independent read, never in place of your judgment.

Every case folder is self-contained

Annotations now live in their own annotations/ subfolder inside each case -- copy or zip a case and every reviewer's work travels with it.

On the dashboard

Sharing a batch of reviewed cases is a few clicks

Check off any cases in the new Export column and bundle them -- raw signals plus each case's full annotations/ folder -- into one zip.

detectQS dashboard showing two annotated cases checked in the Export column, with the label reading 2 case(s) selected for export and the Export Selected Cases button enabled.
Selecting cases for export is entirely separate from opening one -- check the box, keep browsing, and export the whole batch when you're ready.
i AI suggestions are decision support only -- a starting point to speed up review, never a substitute for your own clinical judgment. See how to use for the full walkthrough.
